Privacy and Security Statement

Wadsack-Allen believes strongly in protection of your privacy and First Amendment rights. Please read the following Privacy Statement that we have created to inform you of our information gathering and dissemination practices for this site.

1. Anonymous Usage

Wadsack-Allen can not intrinsically determine the name, email address, phone number or physical location of anybody who visits our sites. While we may collect such information for billing purposes, you are in no way obligated to use this service. We do not correlate usage information with billing information.

2. Collected Data

As part of the services we provide we offer you the option of storing contact information with us. For billing purposes we may require an address, email and/or phone number when using the Stats service. This information is stored in a secure location, and will not be released to third parties, unless we are required to do so to comply with the law.

Payment information (such as credit card numbers) are collected and handled by third-party billing services (such as PayPal) who are entirely responsible for the security of the information you provide them. Please see the PayPal Privacy Policy for more details.

We may use your IP address and IP-based traffic data to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our website and to improve our services. However, these data are not linked to any personal information you may have provided us. For our tracking purposes, your usage of the site is essentially anonymous.

To use Stats, you must provide us with access to your log files. We treat this information with the care we do our own access information. The access data is stored in a secure location and may not be accessed by anyone without permission or authority. Often your hosting company will make your logs available by FTP. If you are concerned about the security of allowing us to access your site, there are several alternate approaches:

  • Configure your FTP server to include a username that has access to only the logs. Then give us that username and password for access.
  • Place the logs in the space for your web site, so that we can access them with HTTP (or HTTPS) protocol. You can even protect this folder and provide us a username and password to connect to only it, so that your normal users won't be able to access your logs if they find them.

3. Email Lists

We will offer, from time to time, to collect email addresses of users who are interested in specific topics. You choose to be included in this list by submitting your email address (we will never subscribe you to a list without your knowledge). When doing so you may be provided with a link that will remove your address from our list at any point in the future. You may also opt-out of receiving future mailings by following the opt-out link we will include in each mailings.

We will not release our email lists to any third party and will not use it for any promotional or other purposes except those specifically related to the content of the list.

This site does not carry advertisements.

5. Cookies

This site uses cookies to remember your sign-in when you return to the site. Neither this cookie, nor your sign-in information is correlated with IP-based information collected as described above.
